Windows Phone 7 Mango Update Coming Late 2011

After the minor update to bring copy in paste in “early 2011,” Microsoft is planning a “rumored” update that could be called Windows Phone 7.5. Windows Phone 7.3 is said to be bringing Silverlight support, along with HTML 5 support, to the browser. Details are limited at this point but the code name for this update is Mango.

It’s also being suggested that Windows Phone 8, or Apollo, will make it to handsets by the end of 2012. None of this has been confirmed by Microsoft, we can only hope they plan an aggressive update roadmap to keep up with Apple and Google.
