Voice Actions for Android

Google announced a new featured today at their big mobile event. Their latest innovation is called Google Voice Actions. Think iPhone Voice Control Evolved. The new feature allows users to send messages, note to self, speak addresses, make a phone call, and go to a website all with using voice commands. Voice Actions requires Android 2.2 aka Froyo. You will not see it on the market otherwise. I am sure the folks over at XDA are working on getting it on Android 2.1 users that are left out. With Froyo rolling out on every latest phone, I’m sure it will finally be safe to start driving again. Source: Phonedog
