Matthew unboxes the Blackberry Bold 9930 on Verizon. We first saw RIMs new lineup of Blackberrys at BlackBerry World earlier in the year. The 9930 (CDMA version of 9900) is the newest member of the BlackBerry lineup and has a blazing fast 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor. Twice as fast as any other blackberry. The 2.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The camera on the back is 5-megapixel with 720p HD video recording capabilities. It is also one of the first Blackberries to launch with BlackBerry 7. Right away, I noticed that the new keyboard is more spacious. 6% bigger to be exact. You can pick up the Blackberry Bold 9930 at Verizon for $249. The question is: Do Blackberries still have their appeal? Can it compete with the other fruit phones out there?
