LG Optimus Black Announced #CES
LG’s Optimus Black is the new world’s thinnest phone. It ousts the iPhone 4 and comes in measuring 9.2mm think and only weighting 109g. The only thing closest to the LG Optimus Black is the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc which is 8.7mm at its thinnest point. None the less. It’s nice to see phone design kick it up a notch in 2011. The Optimus Black sports a 4-inch NOVA screen for viewing in direct sunlight and a 2MP forward-facing camera. the Optimus Black will go on sale running Android 2.2 (Froyo), but can be updated to Gingerbread later. If you have been living under a rock or maybe you just don’t care, Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread has been released into the wild. The first device to carry the new software update is Samsung’s Google experience device called the Nexus S. Don’t think of the Nexus S as the successor to the Nexus One.
