Sony Ericsson’s banner at CES hinted that the Arc would be coming soon. After Sony caught so much heat from releasing devices with outdated versions of Android, I love the time and effort they are taking to release a device that can keep up with the Jones’. Sony’s next handset called the Xperia Arc will definetly put them back into the smartphone race. The specs of the Arc, according to Gagadget, include a 4.2-inch 854×480 display, 1GHz Qualcomm processor (single-core only), 8 megapixel camera with HD video recording, Gingerbread, and a body that’s just 8.7mm at its thinnest point. The LG Optimus still reigns as the thinnest phone. That’s only until the Arc develops an eating disorder.
