Motorola CEO Sanjah Jha spoke today at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference and is bringing some excited news for us to report. Sanjah Jha discussed how Motorola has finally gotten control of the Google Android update pattern and will be among the first to update their devices to Android 2.3. If you guys remember, Motorola was among their first to have Android 2.2 on their devices along side the Google Nexus One.

The Motorola Atrix is a first of many first for the industry. However, one of it’s coolest features are the WebTop application. This application is “usually” only accessed via docks like the lap dock and HD multimedia dock that is sold foe the Atrix. Sanjah revealed today that WebTop will be on all high end Motorola phones this year. This could mean that there are some plans for the Droid Bionic to be sold with some dock accessories. Maybe they will finally open the hdmi port up to using webtop. Wishful thinkin’, I know -_-

Sanjah went out to comment on the performance issues of WebTop and that the sluggish performance is being looking into and will be address.

For the Droid X owners, don’t get your hopes to far up. There have been leaks of Gingerbread build on the interweb, however, I wouldn’t expect WebTop to come to it too. Maybe XDA can change that =/
