The Samsung Infuse 4G recently launched on AT&T and with support for up to 21Mbps.  This makes it AT&T’s fastest device to date.  However, one drawback of the new phone from Sammy, was that it launched with Android 2.2 in an Android 2.3 world.

Rogers has just confirmed that they will be carrying the Samsung Infuse 4G and it will support those blazing fast 21Mbps data speeds.  Contrary to AT&T, it will also launch with Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread.  This leaves a lot of hope for AT&T customers in the US.  The source code was just released for the Samsung Infuse and hopefully, we could see an update to Android 2.3 soon.

No word on when Rogers will launch the Samsung Infuse.  As usual, we will keep you updated as soon as we get word.
