Samsung Galaxy Nexus Full Specs Detailed

A last-minute discovery of a poster and detailed specs may have divulged most details of the Galaxy Nexus. The Blog of Mobile sighting of an NTT DoCoMo ad both cemented the name and gave it a November 10 release date, the same as that for Verizon Samsung is now known to be using a dual-core 1.2GHz TI OMAP4460 processor and Android 4.0 has been identified as “Ice Cream Sandwich’s” final name.

More details independent of the poster have pointed out the five-megapixel, 1080p-capable rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and NFC.  The phone should ship with 32GB of space built-in and have a microSDHC slot for 32GB more.  A 1,750mAh battery should help compensate for the phone’s signature hardware feature, its 4.65-inch (here described as 4.7-inch), 720×1280 screen.

Regional versions have also been broken down.  In Japan, NTT DoCoMo will carry it as the SC-04D. Verizon’s edition is the SCH-i515, while the international and Canadian versions are the well-known GT-i9250 and GT-i9250M respectively.  Verizon’s model will have CDMA for voice and 4G LTE for data, while every other version will support GSM and HSPA-based 3G.

The tip suggests that T-Mobile USA might also get the phone alongside Verizon in the US, while Bell is the only identified Canadian carrier.  Given Google’s preference that Nexus phones be available unlocked, it’s probable that these may be just the carrier deals and not the only choices.

Samsung and Google will unveil the device, as well as Android 4.0 itself, at 10PM Eastern.
