Sony Pictures announced that there will be a new Resident Evil movie on September 14th 2012. The film is tentatively title as Resident Evil 5 and will be shot in 3D. The last Resident Evil movie Afterlife grossed 236 million in foreign box office but didn’t win over the movie critics as the movie was said to be “horrible”.
