CNET has just received word that Google is currently testing a webbased voice service that will link with Gmail. This will allow user to actually place a phone call directly from their inboxes. What will happen is that a Google Chat window on the lower left hand side will allow calls to be placed within their contact list. The UI resembles Google Voice alot. It is possible that Gmail could be the nexus of all Google’s communication tech. Things like Google Talk, Voice and Gmail could all be one client. It is currently in testing at the moment. We will keep everyone updated as more information becomes available.
