In another move to emulate Google and their features, Apple apparently has a new feature in the works. OS X Lion is expected to release next month and within those 200 features mentioned at WWDC, is a OS style boot to “Safari mode.” What this means is that your computer will be able to load directly to the Safari web browser without having to fully boot your computer up. This feature will give Apple laptops a leg up on the Chrome OS Notebooks that are beginning to release. The cool part about this, is that not only would it be quicker for those who just need to browse the web, but it will prevent access to other apps or personal files.
