NVIDIA has just shared a rare demo video of the ASUS Transformer Prime running on Android 4.0.1 (below). The tablet is powered by NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 chip and will be out in December. According to NVIDIA’s Will Park, the software is very open and makes development work easy.
A testament to this was that the video was shown on November 16, just two days after the source code for Android 4.0 was released. The developers could already play 1080p video on the OS, and a quad-core optimized game, Riptide GP, has been shown working with full visual effects and details.
The Eee Pad Transformer Prime can now be pre-ordered, but it won’t initially ship with Android 4.0 onboard.
