A while back I did a browser comparison between the iPad 2 and the Motorola Xoom. Since then Motorola has pushed and update making the software version. Android 3.0.1. This update was mainly a fix for the daylight savings time bug and to prepare the Xoom for Adobe Flash 10.2. I ran a SunSpider javascript test to see if there was a difference between the Xoom with and without Adobe Flash. After all, Adobe 10.2 was supposed to be optimized for the tegra 2 processor.
For those of you have have not heard of SunSpider’s benchmarks, they are able to conduct a browser test of a device based off JSON input, a 3D raytracer, cryptography tests and code decompression. Basically all the crap that goes on in the background during everyday browsing

As you can see through the results, the Motorola Xoom Completed the test in 2041ms with Adobe flash and 2109 without it. Either way it’s still performing better than the iPad. However, thos GLU Benchmarks that are floating around the web are another story.
