Motorola’s rumored Maserati, better known as the Droid 4, has been spotted live for the first time. This is Verizon and Motorola’s chance to finally bring LTE-based 4G to Motorola’s keyboarded phones. The styling takes a few notes from the Droid RAZR. Similar to the RAZR, the DROID4 will come with MOTOACTV syncing, suggesting that it would be ready out of the box to post running results as soon as it’s paired up.
The redesign would give an opportunity to once again tweak the phone’s often touted keyboard and give a slight spec bump to 1GB of RAM and a 1.2Ghz TI OMAP processor. There is also likely to be an 8MP camera that can take 1080p videos and a Super AMOLED qHD screen.
Here is a summary of the rumored specs.
- 4″ screen (assuming Super AMOLED Advanced)
- Full 5-row “illuminated” keyboard
- RAZR styling
- 4G LTE
- Non-removable battery
- Android 2.3.5
- 1080p video recording (assuming 8MP)
- Front camera
- HDMI out
- MotoACTV syncing
