It would appear that the Motorola Droid 3 launch is immeninent.  While we haven’t gotten a confirmation from Verizon just yet, here is a shot of the the next Droid to be released on Verizon.

According to the grapevine, the Droid 3 is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU with a qHD (960×540) similar to the screen of the Droid X2.  It will also sport a 4″ screen, dedicated HDMI-out port, 8MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front facing camera and no LTE-support.
