More HTC Vigor Details Emerge…Confirmed by Ninjas

The name Vigor has been in the mouths of Verizon customers for a few weeks now.  Droid-Life posted some leaked info and images of Verizon’s next HTC phone and it literally set the web ablaze.  While it is always nice to see leaked information on the web, it’s even better when a source close to the chest can corroborate the story…

According to our source, the HTC Vigor will run a Dual core, TI processor.  If true, this will be the first time HTC has used a processor from another vendor besides Qualcomm.  Software wise, we are looking at Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, with NFC support inside.  HTC also appears to not be wasting anytime integrating “Beats” by Dre.  That’s right, this could be among the first HTC phones to have “Beats” INSIDE the phone.  Screen size is nothing new.  We are looking at the same 4.3 qHD screen that is in the Sensation and Evo 3D.

Since it is HTC, we can expect to see HTC Sense 3.5 on board.  However, that is unconfirmed at this point.  The rumored release date is October 5 or 6th of this year. Is this the Incredible 2?  The red accents could mean a “Droid” brand is inevitable.  Our source is sticking to the name Vigor, and we like that…  For now.
