iPhone Survives 13,500 Foot Drop

Apparently, the iPhone 4 has an inner layer of titanium that is covered in all that fragile glass.
A 37-year old Minnesota man has proven to us how durable the iPhone 4 really is. Jarrod McKinney, an avid skydiver, decided it was a good day to go skydiving with his iPhone. Not a bad idea for you techie, adrenaline junkies out there. For some strange reason, the iPhone thought it was a good idea to swan dive out of his pocket, plummeting 13,000 feet and crashing into a building roof half a mile from his landing spot.
Here is the awesome part of the whole thing. After his “William Wallace” cry out to his friends in victory for finding his iPhone intact, he thought it was a good idea to call it. It rang.
I’m not a huge fan of the iPhone, but I can honestly say, I don’t know of any other device that can handle that type of abuse and still be functional. All these curb drops, and lap falls don’t even compare to this iPhones suicide dive.
Hopefully, Apple doesn’t read into this issue and change its warranty specifications.
