Apple approved the Google Voice application today for the Apple iPhone. Google voice allows you to setup a second number and even replace your carrier voice mail services. Android and Blackberry users have had access to Google Voice for sometime now. There are too many features of google voice to mention. If you want to set an account up, head here.
The Native twitter app for the iPhone, aka tweetie, has now been udpated to support push notification for @ mentions. One of the biggest frustrations from most iOS users is the lack of a notification bar. All notifications are provided via a pop up window. As of now, not all applications provide such. It’s good to see that the Twitter appilcation is still improving since they purchased tweetie.
