Apple approved the Google Voice application today for the Apple iPhone. Google voice allows you to setup a second number and even replace your carrier voice mail services. The Native twitter app for the iPhone, aka tweetie, has now been udpated to support push notification for @ mentions. One of the biggest frustrations from most iOS users is the lack of a notification bar. All notifications are provided via a pop up window. As of now, not all applications provide such. It’s good to see that the Twitter appilcation is still improving since they purchased tweetie.
