Verizon is finally going to get a bit of Windows Phone action from HTC. HTC’s new phone is called the HTC Trophy and resembles the HTC Surround from AT&T in build. For those of you who aren’t aware, the HTC Trophy is a 3.5-inch device with key specs such as a 5 megapixel camera, 1Ghz Qualcomm processor, 576MB of RAM, WiFi and GPS.
Don’t be discouraged by the specs. Windows Phone 7 devices do an awesome job with 1Ghz processors. HTC is always the standard when it comes to creating stable and durable hardware/software. Verizon will finally join AT&T as the 2nd carrier to offer the iPhone, Android, WebOS, and Windows Phone 7.
The HTC Trophy is rumored to have a late march release. According to Engadget’s tipster, this phone will pack the WIndows Phone 7 update that allows copy & paste. The more choices the better.
