HTC Holiday Acheives a 29Mbps Download on AT&T’s 4G LTE Network

BGR caught hold of some images of the HTC Holiday on AT&T’s 4G LTE network.  The numbers were pretty impressive. Comparable to Verizon’s 4G LTE network.  The test was done in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, the phone managed to put down more than 29Mbps on downloads.  This performance beats the fastest on Verizon’s 4G LTE network, but we do need to keep in mind that there are very few people who are currently on the network.  Even though Verizon can get these speeds, they are only marketing a 5-12Mbs Download speed to their customers.

The HTC Holiday itself is a phone to look out for.  It has a 4.5-inch qHD (540×960) display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and an eight-megapixel camera.  Android 2.3.4 is overlaid with HTC’s “Sense 3.0″ interface.  The device is expected to arrive at AT&T within the next few months.  It could be the first device to kick off the new 4G network.  Check out the source link for a full gallery.
