Google Releases Update to Android Market

Today, Google announced the long awaited update to the Android Market. Revealed at Google I/O, the new Market needs at least Android 2.2 and will be released to the wild in phases. Google has advised that it should be on every Android phone in a few weeks.
The new market layout amends the problem with showcasing apps. The new homepage highlights content and not just the top sells. The eye candy is also a welcomed addition. The new visual promos and colorful look bring a nice polished look to the market. Market division makes the categories more accessible by swiping. Top paid and free titles are highlighted as well as core apps and games. What do you guys think of the new Market? Check out the video below.
