The official update is here everyone! Yesterday a leaked version of the udpate made its way to the hands of those comfortable with hackery. For everyone else, you can expect and OTA (over the air) update that will come straight to your phone automatically. Make sure you keep a full battery. It can come as soon as 2/24.

Great news for Samsung Captivate owners! The Android 2.2 upgrade is coming tomorrow! We’ll post a link here to the Samsung site with instructions to install the upgrade tomorrow.

Samsung is on a roll lately finally pushing out updates to their best selling Galaxy S devices. The Epic, Vibrant & Captivate have seen an Android 2.2 update in one way or another. What about the Fascinate? What’s the hold up?
