Apple Thunderbolt Is Official, HTC Thunderbolt Delayed

Written by Matthew Gissentanna. Posted in Computers, Mobile, Tech News

Over the last few months, if someone were to say something about Thunderbolt coming out you would be thinking about HTC and Verizon’s Evo like device. The HTC Thunderbolt has been pushed back again according to the Roseville, CA Best Buy. They tweeted earlier this morning that the ThunderBolt launch has been delayed and that it “may launch on Thursday, March 4th.”

On the other hand, Apple’s Thunderbolt technology was released today along with the New Macbook Pros. Thunderbolt is a new connection port that lets you connect high-performance peripherals and high-resolution displays to one port — with data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps. The 2011 lineup of Macbook Pros will be the first to carry them.
