Good news for Nexus owners. Android 2.3.3 now allows you to take screenshots directly on your phone. This feat does require root access for other devices. Of course you can always use the ddms.bat file in the Android SDK. Anywho, it’s nice to see little features like this come to the Android OS. After all the Apple devices have had this feature for sometime now. Windows 7 and WebOS are the only remaining OS’ without native screenshot support. Taking screenshots really is more of a luxury for the non developers out there. Of course if you like to show of your homescreen setup or your new minimalist launcher then this is a timesaver.
