The number of outdated Android users is shrinking! As of today 77% of all Android users are running Android 2.1 or Higher, and the split between those running 2.1 and 2.2 is almost even. With current estimates of over 200,000 Android phones being activated a day it seems like Android is finally catching up with itself and newer phones running 2.1 or higher is helping. Soon a new section will be carved out in that big ol’ pie for 2.3(Gingerbread.)  Have fun speculating when and what this will run on!
